People of the BHW, this morning I set my IG accounts to disallow AI reuse by Meta, and, surprise surprise, all of them got deactivated. It might be a glitch or maybe the Zuck is annoyed he can't get my work for free. but tread carefully

Interesting. Could be a coincidence or just a Meta bug, but I'd wait a bit before changing that setting on important accounts. Curious to see if anyone else can reproduce it.

It could just be a temporary glitch but its always a good idea to wait for more reports before assuming there's a direct connection between a setting change and account deactivation.

All the people saying no to cookies and all that back in the day are giving AI access to calendars, personal data, social platforms, business websites, the whole lot

Seen a hilarious post about this when I was floating through LinkedIn one of the days
