This is probably a no brainer for most of you, but it still might help for a few.
As you all know G has just recently introduced its Google Instant service. They claim to provide smarter predictions when somebody is typing in the keyword he/she is looking for.

    From the google page:
Smarter Predictions: Even when you don?t know exactly what you?re looking for, predictions help guide your search. The top prediction is shown in grey text directly in the search box, so you can stop typing as soon as you see what you need.

    Some thoughts about this:
Try to do some searches relevant to your niche for example if your niche is the hair dryer you see that the first three suggestions are
    - hair dryer
    - hair dryer reviews
    - hair dryer holder

of course if you check google keywords it will show that the suggested keywords have a much higher monthly search volume because people tend to go with the suggestions in most of the cases.
I know the suggestion box is not new but with this instant service it deserves much more attention than it did before.

So try to go for the keywords (even the long tailed ones) which come up as suggestions on google and incorporate them into your page, write a few articles about hair dryer reviews and hair dryer holders (based on the above mentioned example) to get some extra hits because these are all hot search trends WITHIN the given keyword you want to rank for.
Just a thought, like i said its nothing special but it will certainly help to achieve better exposure and even better ranking in the long term.

Have a great weekend my dear friends!

Edit: Just read the whole thing but i also have to say that:

I am trying to rank for keywords like " omg this hair dryer is supa awesome" and google takes me forth and back ..so lets forget for hair dryer for a bit:p

Thanks anyway!Nice tip for well-established sites.

mnemonic9 is right about using the suggested keywords which are also the Google Wonder Wheel, as the optimized page titles for your web pages. We have always done this, and we specifically design sites around the Google Wonder Wheel to depths beyond the first level of the Wheel. The idea is to build mini-authority sites, and Google has always rewarded these sites when properly SEOed with backlinks, onpage, etc.

But with Google Instant, the suggested keywords/Wonder Wheel have become much more important, because as the person types, these suggestions come up in real time with the results. In the old days people would come up with less than optimal keyword phrases and go through multiple searches to find a less than optimal result. The Instant suggestions by keystroke coupled with the Instant results tend to channel the keywords that are entered by users to the ones in the Wonder Wheel, as opposed to the often defective keyword ideas entered by users.

As soon as Instant went live, we saw an increase in the conversion rates across all Wonder Wheel optimized web sites. This conversion rate increase looks to be on a path to increase income by at least 50% this month. This is the first time in memory when a Google algorithm change helped my sites so much. Thank you (for now) Google. :borladuck

I haven't met anyone yet who takes the slightest bit of notice of google
instant until they have completed typing what they were originally searching for.
It seems to be aimed at people with very slow typing speeds and short attention
spans but as the majority of people I know use igoogle it doesn't affect them in any way.
Perhaps google are trying too many different things at once.
I know when I am searching I know what I am looking for, I don't need suggestions.
