I just bought a website but I can't remove the ezoic ads. I just removed ads.txt but still its showing ads.

ads.txt has nothing to do with the ads on page. You have to find the code in the website responsible for ads.

I slightly similar but different issue. The person from you bought with probably has a ezoic account and this website is probably the primary website.
You can do one thing - Google Ezoic support - (I dont know if its okay to put ezoic link here), click additional help, submit a request and let them know I want to remove the ezoic ads or whicever help you need. They will give you a code to update on your website to verify that you own the website. Once verification is done, you can add your ezoic account and remove it whenever you want.

you need to disintegrate the site from Ezoic by changing the provided nameservers. I think the original owner should contact support to prove new ownership.

reach outr to the original owner. He should contact ezoic support and tell them you are the new owner of the website.

You need to remove the integration in ezoic. Then, change the namesever.

I tried before to install ezoic via plugin in Wordpress, was impossible to remove the plugin, when I remove the plugin my index page and multiple pages stop working, I was lucky I made a full blog backup before I did this and I needed to delete all and install back the backup. I don't suggest anyone to use ezoic plugin or even ezoic connecting to cloudflare, if you try to remove them via cloudflare make sure you change cloudflare API codes, if not, in 2 minutes, they are back. i never understand why people use ezoic ...
