All Have installed RSStoBlog to work as per the instructions. Seems to install ok, set up projects and profile but can't get the damned thing to post anything. When I execute the project the next screen just comes up blank and no new posts have been made. Have tried using search results and RSS but nothing seems to work. Does anybody using RSStoBlog successfully have any idea where it's gone wrong? Chris
i had the same problem but i forgot to changr the cmd to 777 o i changed it to all files 777 and now it works try it
my rsstoblog script didn't come with codelock.php is that perhaps why the script isn't working for me? If somebody here could upload rss2blog with that file, it'd be awesome...
I installed as per instructions and did all the CHMOd changes but still had no luck. Am ploughing on with The Blog Solution for the moment but it is far less flexible, as far as I could see, than RSStoBlog Hawksie
I'm having the same problem as Chris when I run the script. Even executing the post.php manually doesn't get anything to post, so it's not really the cron job that's the problem - there's gotta be something goofy or missing in the script because I've combed the instructions up and down trying to see what I've missed.
I've been trying for days now and am having exactly the same issues. The cron job has nothing to do with it as far as I can see. Is there anything similar to rsstoblog that we can try? Apart from ABP which works fine but is very limited
Avoid auto installation. Try manual install steps given in help file available with program, including setting up database tables in mysql. You will not get any error.
Guys, I'm getting: Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/usr/local/mysql-5.0/data/mysql.sock' (2) in /home/content/w/t/r/wtrader/html/rkksdhf/RSS2B4/codelock.php(3) : eval()'d code(1) : eval()'d code(1) : eval()'d code on line 22 Could not connect to databaseCan't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/usr/local/mysql-5.0/data/mysql.sock' (2) Any ideas?
I had the same issue. Believe it or not, I think it's a flaw in their most recent software release. I had to get intouch with their helpdesk (email support) and grant them ftp access to my install. They went in and modified some code. Pretty lame but they were quick to respond and quick to fix so not a huge headache.... the headache came from fighting with multiple installs thinking it was me that had done something wrong. Just fire them an email and explain the blank post.php screen following execute and they'll know right away what the issue is. J.
lol, good point. Maybe that's better than any "crack" protection ... Funny thing is, I think maybe this is the only software I've actually purchased! Ahh Irony.
Hi i have solved the problem after 2 hour work. If you want the solution please send me email : [email protected] thank you
