I have been trying to get indexed with google since November 3rd, with proper sitemap and robots.txt verified by google webmaster tools and downloaded daily by google. It is not a blog, and I have pinged it and have some backlinks to it, but I can't get indexed.

Is it a good idea to start to outsource a link wheel service for the site with article submittions, backlinking, bookmarks, social network & web 2.0 properties, or should I wait till it gets indexed?

Please, any advice is appreciated.
Thanks

I recently created an article "Scraping Google for Fun and Profit"
I digged it, and within half an hour it was indexed.
Nothing else.

I have digged it. Is it a blog site? I think blog sites are getting indexing quickly.

This is kind of strange. You have 3 backlinks indexed (not really that many) and they are all 3 digg. You should be indexed with that but it could just be a stupid problem with digg.

Go ahead and start making backlinks to sites like Blogger, quizilla, vox, weebly, social bookmarking and submit your rss feeds.

you'll be indexed within a few days by doing that.

DONT FORGET TO PING YOUR BACKLINKS!

Google is slow indexing websites lately. One thing you could do is to get one-way backlinks from high PR authority sites, bookmarking and pinging them. That should accelerate the process.

Also on reason a lot of blogs get indexed quicker than non blogs is because (at least with wordpress) each time the blog is updated the blog is pinged. Start pinging your website as well if you haven't been.

I just noticed, the dig link is to "mysite.com" and not "www.mysite.com" do you think that could be the problem?
