The site is a review based site, visitors select a place/shop/attraction etc and then give a summary/review of their experience.

Each page has a location, a category, then around 8 reviews - usually a picture with each review.

I have limited each review to around 300 characters but have checked and at the moment most visitors are only submitting around 80 character reviews.

I can see why this would be declined when described as a site where user submits a picture and a few people comment on it.
But the way it actually is, the visitor picks a location and category, they then get reviews and usually images of what they are trying to find.

At the moment my site is getting around 5000 visits a day. Some visitors are leaving reviews most are reading reviews.
Around 40% comes direct, 60% through referral and social.

When reading through why it may have been declined the only reasons that stood out were:

    • Make sure that your pages have sufficient text
    • Your content should contain complete sentences and paragraphs

But I cannot really change this due to the nature of the site.

If I get more hits and the site becomes more popular am I likely to be approved, or do I need to add more paragraphs to each page?

    Thanks for any help

Getting an Adsense account with a review site of this nature might be somehow difficult. Over the years, Adsense had stepped up their approval requirements. Your traffic is not really the issue here, but the quality and length of each post. You will need to have somthing in the range of 30 well written articles, at least 500 words to stand a chance of approval. Wait a minute, why not monetize your site with clickbank or amazon products? I think that will be a lot better. Wish you success!

You can get an approved Adsense account via YouTube. That's much easier and faster rather than applying using your website.

Just do an online search about how to get an approved Adsense account using YouTube.
