The seller delivered the work but it was incomplete and then Fiverr banned the seller a day after he delivered. Now, i cant get a refund since it redirects me back to chat when i try to refund.

    Any help?

If you are smarter, you could think that you can earn more than 5 bucks if you spend your time learning something from here, instead of fiver refund support.

Money doesn't just disappear into thin air. It will either be released to you, if not, it goes to the seller. Fiverr doesn't keep funds, if the seller is banned, he will get the funds after a grace period of certain amount of days.

Your last resort is opening a dispute on PayPal, however if you want to use your Fiverr account in the future, it's not the best idea, because the Fiverr account can get banned as per Fiverr's TOS, if you initiate a dispute directly from PayPal and not by using Fiverr's system.

But why don't you ask the Fiverr support? They can help you directly with this. We can't.

I don't like being scammed, even if its for 5$. Thats it, If i lost 50$ because of my mistake or something like that, it wouldn't be a big deal. But getting scammed just sucks.

I won't open a paypal dispute since i dont want to compromise my FIVERR accounts because of it. I tried contacting the support but all i get is being sent to FAQ's and shit.

Something like this can happen in future, next time it can be more than 50$, who knows? I couldnt get hold of Fiverr support so i thought I'd ask here for advice. Thanks for your input tho, Already learning a lot from BHW and taking action :)

You win some . . . You lose some

You have to play by Fiverr rules . . .

    Two best ways mate..:
    1. Contact fiverr support.. they could help better than BHW as the matter is their concern..
    2. Forget 5 bucks and enjoy :p

You must contact Fiverr support in order to get the refund.
As @HoNeYBiRD mentioned if you make dispute in PayPal. You will certainly loose your Fiverr account.
