    Hi there!

First of all, thanks for letting me be a part of this wonderful community. I recently discovered this forum and it's been a life saver.

Let me give you a short context before I post my question: I have a rich client that wants to become a lifestyle influencer. He has worked with marketing agencies before that bought likes and some followers. He is not good looking, but I've seen worse, and he has a photographer to create good quality pictures and has access to VIP events and hotels.

Right now, he has 1800 followers (of which 700 or so are fake), and his pictures get 180 likes (of which at least 100-130 are bought)

No matter when I post or what I post, I can't get past 40-50 likes in 24 hours.

I have follow liker running on a VPS and proxy, with very conservative settings. I just have it Liking pictures with some travel hashtags and a scraping pictures from a big local influencer. I'm not using the Follow setting as of yet, but I manually go to one of the big local influencer's picture and start following people manually (around 50-60 a day).

Apart from FL, I have the account installed in my mobile phone, and my client has it open and active in his cell phone (and uses it to DM friends and Like his friends and family's pictures).

Even as crappy as the account is, I can't understand how with around 1000 real followers, I can't get past 50 real likes. It's like the photos are not appearing on the followers feed or instagram has the account flagged and not showing correctly to followers? Maybe the fact that the account is open and active in 2 different mobile phones + Follow Liker on a VPS and Proxy is a flag worthy trap?

Any advice is very welcome, and of course I'll update this thread with all the updates and findings I can to help others.

    Thank you, guys! You rock

    Karma probably.
"Lifestyle Influencers" are usually narcissistic douche-bags.

    P.S. Welcome to the forum!

Hahaha you're absolutely right. He is actually a douche-bag, but I'm getting paid on a monthly basis to help him monetize his account by the end of the year, and I need the money to invest in growing my business and put food on my table for me and my family.

Well shit, isn't that the way it always works? Bowing down to a douche bag so you can pay your bills.

I am no insta pro, but 3 different IP addresses accessing the account could trigger a gram ghosting.
That is just a guess, I would hold out for more replies.

Low engangement shows inactive followers/unrelated followers with this niche or low quality posts(which you said is fine)
You can increase your engangement with couple ways:
    • Unfollow inactive people.People who havent post for 14-20 days. You'll probably unfollow and many bot-followers with this way.
    • Like your followers' posts. Do it parallel with the other actions you do.This will make them come back to your profile and check your posts. You need your followers to interact with you,so you should interact with them first.
    • There is a post in BHW "Increase your engangement",its very usefull, check it out.

Maybe I should have said before, I run another 4 accounts from the same phone (no FL or proxies for these accounts), but I'm not doing much in them, just posting and liking manually. Would that be a factor when getting flagged? If so, why would IG allow to have up to 5 accounts in the same app?

It's not worth it to risk the account's engagement & getting 'shadowbanned' for a few likes with Follow Liker.

My advice: start a new account and spend $ buying real shouts rather than spend $ on blackhat methods for growing.

The only thing I would use FL for in this case (the future for FL looks quite dim) is to manage 'fluffer' accounts that like/follow/unfollow & point to the main account. Don't forget to use proxies - this is elementary for IG.

Thanks, froger. You are right, FL is not worth it at all. All it did was screw up the account, but I'm sure it's just me not using it right. I haven't fine tuned it too much.

I'll definitely go spend some $ on shoutouts, but for this project I have to keep my client's account, can't start a new one sadly.

    Thanks for your help!

How many users is that account following?
Yes, I can see that most of the followers are fake, so expect nothing from them. They are just a vanity number.
If the people that he is following are not doing anything, just unfollow the lot (the ones that are not liking). It's not like the account will get less likes, anyway.

Then, continue liking and interacting with other accounts. Don't use Followliker for likes, it is not the best for that. FL is more for follow/unfollow.

It will take time, about 1-2 months for the account to clear after you drop all the dead people that he is following. Also, stop buying fake likes and any more fake followers. Does the account no good.

Right now it seems to me that you are making a conclusion on an account which only has 900-1000 "Real Followers" what you are doing is called Technical Marketing, with Technical marketing you need data. You current have none.

Lets think here for a minute.

    1. Acc has 1800 Followers, of which 900-1000 are real, the rest are 100% Fake and should not be expected to interact with the accs at all.

    2. Each post gets 180 Like give or take, of which 100-130 are fake, so 50-80 are real, thats a .5-.8% Engagement rate.

So let me ask you, do you interact with any of the followers of the current acc by sending likes to them, comments, etc? If not then why would they see your pics and interact with them?

    Suggestions:

    - Implement a project which interacts with an accounts Followers posts daily, they will reciprocate

    - Up settings and become more aggro in daily actions

    - Post better content

    - Begin testing, by scraping likes from diffrent accs, see which accs give you the higher F/B rate, intercative users, etc, then find similar accs and scale with that data

    --------------

You are not ghosted at all, I am willing to bet that your strategy is just super flawed, and targeting is off.

If you were ghosted, you would get real 10 likes or less per post

If you're doing too much activity, it could be raising flags. You want to run FL like a human would like/follow on Instagram.

I'm in the same field, by the way - social media management. Is this what you do for a living? I'd like to chat about business if you're around :)

    Hi CityTech

I just stopped FL, but these are the settings I had (they were very conservative)

I didn't follow anyone using FL, just liking pictures

    Scrape Photo:
I put 2 photos from a local influencer and liked photos from the people that liked those photos
I liked photos from around 10 hashtags related to my clients content

    Like
    Like limit: 10 - 18
    Daily limit: 150 - 190
    Delay: 100 - 140

That's all I did with FL. But I did follow people manually from my phone once a day. I chose a local influencer with +1M followers, and followed the people that liked her last picture.

Yeah, those are very conservative numbers. Is his content too generic? If you want to send over the username I can give my first impressions.
