canceling auctions before they end

alright ebay has no limitations if you cancel an auction right before it ends, however I am using the auctions as a traffic source. I do not have the amount of items that I have listed. I can get much more visitors by listing something at a low price towards the end of the auction after the 12 hours. Say I was selling Iphones and I cancelled all the buyers at 2 hours before auction end and said that I spilled water on the phone would this be a problem?

No, just tell them that you will honor their bid on the nonfunctional iphone

you can not cancel the auction 2 hours before it ends it has to be 12 hours before it ends to cancel it I have tried to cancel one when it had a few hours left

lol yes that sounds like a good way to make someone back out. Another question, is this a good way to get high in the listings on ebay, and if I do it too many times will ebay start getting suspicious?

Yah, it will be a problem if you always cancel your auctions. After a while ebay will suspend your accoutn

yes you can cancel it you just have to cancel each individual bid I believe then when there are no bids you can end the auction.

is there any set number or is it just whenever they feel you have done it too much?

yes sorry if there is no bids you can cancel the auction but it has bids it has to be more than 12 hours left on the auction unless I was missing something did not give me an option to cancel the bids

Not sure, it just seems to me that canceling all your bids/auctions looks fishy after a while. Mixing in some sales here and there would help keep you under the radar. Better yet, rotate mulitple accounts

ebay will pay attention if you cancel too many auctions...

alright guess I will have to hit up some garage sells and sell that crap on ebay, but for now I had lots of iphones for resales and my jackass friend spilled a coke on them...

I have it listed about 6 times hopefully I don't get banned haha...
