I uploaded a few youtube videos about two weeks ago and they are not showing up on Big G at all. I have some that have shown up within 3 days and I am getting a little worried about these videos that have yet to appear in either the regular searches or in the video searches? I'm going to continue to wait it out, but any advice or tips on how to make sure they will show up for my keywords.

I have views, likes, and even a few subscribers. I haven't figured out what the factor is on whether I get into the serps or not. I am doing quite well in the youtube serps atm for most of my videos, but only about 1/3 are on google.

Views are the most important thing.

I am going after some pretty easy terms. How many views is a good amount? Maybe 300 or so?

depends on your competition... i.e. if all vids on the first page have 1000+, 300's not gonna be enough.

blast some backlinks to the vid. might help get them in G.

I've been trying to rank a few videos past couple weeks and noticed them dancing around the serps constantly.

When I first started trying to rank videos, I was told that youtube videos do not experience the google dance.

But mine clearly are dancing daily as I always check my ranks constantly. They bounce from page 2 to page 15+ over and
over all day. Still waiting for them to stabilize. It is still early but hopefully soon...

I only have about 300 but my niche is not competitive at all. What type of link building are you doing? I've done AMR, SB blasts, and bookmarking so far. Testing them out on various videos that I have to see what works.

Since this is my first time trying to rank any youtube videos, I am trying different methods on each video to see
    what works best.

So far I have created 15 high PR web 2.0s, 15 document sharing sites, 600 bookmark blast, 1200 article directory blast, drip feeding
high PR bookmarks with socialadr, submitting to video sharing sites using pixel pipe, and less then 100 blog comments

On another video I am stickily doing high PR bookmark submits with socialadr and blasting comments. Actually seeing some movement
on this one but the competition is weaker.

I'm going to let the first vid play it's course but if it keeps dancing and won't stabilize, then I'm going to blast the first tier links which I haven't
    done yet.

But my goal is to try and figure out the least amount of work to be done for each vid.

Guys if you can get your hands on a program called "Content Notifier" it's great for helping with vids. The developer has a "free" program and a paid one. I used the free one with alot of success.

I'm not the developer or have anything to do with the developer although I have spoke with him before (he was kind enough to actually give me the paid version). I didnt do a search in here..but maybe its in BHW. If not, PM me and I will see if I can get the DL link for the free version.

The first time I used it is when I was trying to get an attorney's video ranked on page 1 for a prospective client. It worked wonders...client was so impressed...The attorney is still a $800/month client (yes, I know..could of gotten more back then but he realizes the value and has passed on 4 referrals over the past year). :)

You used this for youtube videos or regular websites?

After a quick search it seems to be a index/pinging software correct?

I have used it for both but mainly for videos. It sends thousands of statistical type backlinks. I run it every 30 days or so. It's worked for me for such keywords as xxx foreclosure attorney, xxx real estate attorney, xxx transmission repair, xxx real estate, xxx google places( this video is still right behind google.com after nearly a year) and many other keywords.

Also, sometimes I need a boost and I use Onlywire to help.

of course, not my vids make it to page 1 but the success rate far outweighs the fail rate. Sometimes the vids would disappear but typically within 2 to 5 days..BAM,,out of nowhere..Page 1...

How long does the average video usually take you to reach page 1 and stay?

well, depends on KW but on the average...if they hit page 1..it normally happens within 2 days. I wish I could quantify it better for you but I just didn't track them (wish I did). I 've had some videos on page 1 in less than 2 hours and stay...If you want hit me up on skype at jlb20121 if you have some more questions or help. I'm headed to the gym right now (its about 9pm austin,tx time) so I should be on later.
