    Hey folks
Excuse my raging blood, its genetic.

I am wondering if there is any way or any possibility to use the wix website builder for your own domain/hosting. I have searched as an idiot and all the time the answer is Wordpress, Wordpress and that damn Wordpress.

I got a domain at ifastnet and there are loads of applications to use. But Wordpress to me seems so static, so damn complicated that my fingers start itching and my serbian blood starts boiling. But the only thing I hear is that wordpress is easy peasy and the best out there. I used both Imcreator from .TK and the Wix web building site creating my own webpages EXACTLY how I wanted them. Every milimeter was adjustable.

But then you watch the tutorial videos of 3 damn hours, and only 40 minutes in you want to kill the creator of wordpress. The control panel that manages the site customization is so stale its unbelievable. I want the homepage infront of me, giving me the possibilty to change, add and adjust every detail from scratch if I so want. And exactly that is what you get when using Wix or Imcreator for a complete stupid noob as me in the programming world. Im good at computers generally but the time is not in to start learning coding when I have tested applications as Wix or Imcreator.

So I am asking you for help my dear IM friends, can I use the wix site builder and build my website how I want it and be able to connect it to my domain? In other words, use the wix builder for my hosted site?

Because through wordpress you have to choose themes and these darn themes are predefined. The text is like this and that, not giving me the option to adjust the position nor text style how I want it. As I mainly want to be hosting an affiliate site linking my affiliate products through to various sites its frustrating when I just wanna see my website infront of me, put any picture where I want it with ease and click on a html box and paste in the code granted to me. Giving me the option to place it wherever I please on my page.

There has to be some way to make this possible or am I to impatient when watching the tutorial videos? I seem to not have any kind of freedom or fluidness when trying to edit through wordpress. I am probably wrong but help would be appreciated as I really have googled and searched here for answers.

I am a old lurker but recently signed up and started again, so I am very rusty on rules, I do hope I did not break any and dont come off as naive or "cuntish"? And excuse my shitty English :)

Are you looking for something like this? http://quickandeasywebbuilder.com. I think Dreamweaver can do the same thing, you'll need to create it then upload the html/css/js of the static site it outputs, word press is a cms it sounds like what your describing is a site builder that outputs a static website.
