Can you use two ips with one youtube account?

I have a friend in India uploading videos to his account.

Will I be able to loggon to the account with the password and add a description and tags and stuff without the acount getting banned?

Is this ok? Anyone have any experience with this

Put it this way - I would be very surprised if youtube forced you to always use the same computer. I've uploaded videos from work and home before - obviously different ips.

You're not going to have any problem using more than 1 ip in one account, it's natural for sites so popular like youtube to consider that their users most likely log in to their accounts from their PCs, laptops, mobile phones, which in most of the cases will have different ip as they may not be in home using their laptops... And that's just an example, there are many other reasons.

Doable but not necessarily advisable. Pretty easy to write a filter that resolves the country code of the IPs used to access an account and look for logins from different countries in a short space of time (which would normally be indicative of open proxy usage - and why would someone legit appear to be using proxies from different countries?) Not fatal but probably a black mark.

youre safe

when in doubt, always clear cookies/LSOs, reset modem/router and get a new IP.

YT is more stringent on people creating accounts with the same IP and usually reverse lookup by that info.

they dont keep track of that stuff.. at least not yet.. they do track the rate of videos being uploaded per ip.
