    Hi guys,

My situation is that Im split between 3 computers, home pc. Laptop round my girlfriends. Office PC.

Is it possible to transfer my campaign settings between each pc, or when I load it up (as i have the same license key for each -I ONLY RUN 1 COPY AT A TIME) will the settings automatically be there?

You can backup your project and just copy it over to your other comps.

Right click the project, modify project, backup selected.

    Guys,

I exported my project settings and its SER file.

I then created a new project, how to i replicate settings of first project to another project?

I tried > modify project > restore. But it din't work.

This thread is almost 5 years old :p

The option you tried is used for restoring a project backup (saved project)

If you want to copy the options of one project to another, you would open that project (edit project) > click the tools button at the bottom of the window > export > options. That creates an options template with the extension called ".gsaset"

Then all you would need to do is create a new project > go back to tools button > import > options > choose the options file that you saved.

You can also save the full template of a project which copies the engine selection, data fields and options of the project by going tools > export > template. Then import the same way I mentioned above but choosing "template" instead of options.

You can also right click on projects > modify project > duplicate > data/options.

It exists, but its used for something else. Right click on a project > modify project > backup selected project. You will see its a ".ser" file type. This is where you use the restore option to restore the project back in case you need to save projects and move to a new server, etc.
