Hi

I have a couple of Facebook tools like Social Lead Freak that allow you to extract Facebook user IDs from pages, convert them to Facebook emails which you can then upload as a list to invite them to Like your Facebook page.

In theory it's a fast and easy way to build Likes without paying for advertising.

However, when I do this and click the send invite button the invites don't seem to go - it just defaults back to the list of emails.
NB I am testing with 100-200 emails - way less than the 5000 limit.

Has anybody else had success with this technique?

Am I doing something wrong?

Maybe be it works with non-Facebook emails but Facebook has put a block it with lists of just Facebook emails.

I would love to hear from people who have been using this technique.

If you have not, it will not make much sense.

How to you export the files which contains fb mail id to your facebook page, i searched it and found nothing.

I use a software program that scrapes Facebook IDs from pages, groups etc. and then converts them into Facebook email addresses which you upload to your Facebook page via the build audience function.

The one I use is Social Lead Freak by Ali G sold on the Warrior Forum.

However looking at other threads it seems other people have had similar problems.

You can use IDs & FB emails for custom audience advertising, and you can upload your own non-Facebook email list to invite them to Like your page, but the loophole of scraping Facebook email addresses looks like it has now been closed.

Yes, you can go with this way. Still working.

How do you do this??? What program are you using to invite them??

yes its working ...........but u need save that contact file in that format filename.vcf and upload it ..........

Can you elaborate more??? Are you talking to add them as friends or just to invite them???
I think that OP is asking just to invite them to like a specific page not to add them as friends...
Anyway I am interested for both options, HOW CAN I DO THIS???

I tried to do this a few weeks ago with a couple of hundred emails for one of my pages, it worked fine. Just use somethink like outlook or thunderbird to turn your list into a .vcf file and that's it.

I used this method 11 months ago, but I used it to find friends, invited about 3000 friends and 700 accepted me, few days later facebook disabled my account.

Do you guys create .vfc file with multiple email addresses?

I found how to create .vfc for each person I want to invite, but it took so much time.

I have 88k tech page, but the problem here for me is i cant find invite by email option under build audiance tab.

i think this option is available for a page which has less likes ...

or

i am the only one here who is having this problem

facebook mass messaging has helped a lot in increasing sales!

yes, is still working. I just add the email list and it seems to be send. I mean I receive new likes and some of them are really from my email list :)

I have the exact same issue. anyone else facing this scenario?

I just spent ages importing the list into Outlook, converting them to vcf and working out how to combine all the individual names into one vcf file - only to get the same result! Ahhhh!!!

It works with your normal email list but if the email list is just made up of Facebook emails, I believe this loophole has been closed.

I guess I will have to resort to white hat methods of growing my page such as Facebook advertising!

Unless anyone else has any ideas?

Yes this option is only available for pages with less than 5000 Likes.

It is meant for businesses to invite their email contacts / lists - but you can't upload more than 4500 at one time and then not every day.

If this is a @Facebook.com list, it won't work.If it is any other provider, it will work but you can get reported by the people whom you have sent the invite to.
