I have 35 expired domains that i used on a site and now I need to change my domain.

Can I reuse those 301s or are they only good for being used with a 301 to another site, one time only before they lose their juice?

Please only reply if you have been through this before not what you have heard.

There is now way to redirect expired domains to another domain. You need DNS access of the domain which you dont have.

hmmm sorry if misread it.. I thought you meant the 35 domains are expired.

My personal record for reusing an expired domain is 4 times. Each time I've built a site on it, milked the traffic dry, then let the domain languish for pretty much a year before trying something new out with it. I've been quite surprised by how much they can bounce back after a period of torpor.

The olde boy is now enjoying his retirement as a Google News site hosting the odd paid link and batches of links that need indexing.

Yes, you can reuse them. Once you remove the redirect, the domain will get its juice back. It might take a few months, but it will get it back.

People who claim that 301 redirects "deplete" the domains forever should not be anywhere near SEO.

Hi dear SEO expert,
I want to know I recently purchased an expired domain for 301 redirections for my main site but unfortunately, it was previously used on the 301 3 times old owner. Now can I use it for 301 for my main website?

Thank You
