So I have made the transition to staying at home full time as a freelance writer while learning affiliate marketing on the side.

I have found that sitting on my arm chair or at my desk with standard a kitchen chair makes me ache quite bad after a few hours, sometimes I need to do 10+ hours/day .. So since this is now my career, I can justify buying an ergonomic comfyasfuck office/executive chair.. I am looking for something that will also prevent me from any injuries that are associated with excessive office and computer work!

can any of you recommend some good chairs? what do you use?

I went to Office Depot and sat in about 30 chairs. I am tall so I narrowed it down to chairs that sat up higher than others. Then I looked for one that felt good. I sat in about 5 that I liked and kept going back and forth until one felt the best. That's the one I chose. No idea what the brand or model is.

I'm using a Herman Miller Aeron with lumbar and head rest attachment. Definitely one of the best office investments I've made so far. Pretty much everything can be adjusted. Only downside is they're pretty pricey, but you might be able to find used or refurbished ones on ebay/craiglist at a nice discount.

The so called "computer chairs" suck (imo).

    This is what I use....

The ONLY thing I liked about computer chairs is you can raise them. Aside from that, they hurt your ass, your elbows, they are stiff (even the cushioned ones), you can't recline with a keyboard or laptop on your lap, you move around all the time, readjusting your ass to take pressure off, moving your arms, eblows, etc.

I will NEVER go back to a computer chair again.

I agree as well. In the long run, this could be cheaper though if you're the type of person who spends money on new office chair every 2-3 years.
