Well I play at the casino every here and there when I have nothing to do. When I say casino I mean actual casino not online.

The casino I go to which is nearest my home. Its pretty ghetto. You always have people in there begging you for few chips so they can play. Anyways while playing blackjack I over hear guys behind me (They're watchingk the game). Guy tells his friend to go to front desk & get money by using their credit card if they lose it they'll report their credit card stolen and say it wasn't them.

Won't the casino use their picture and signature against them? The way those guys talked something tells me they done this few time but how they get away with it?

For how long you are playing casinos?

Its nice of you guys but if you got some throwaway money and like to play its fine... You can meet in casinos alot interesting people

I'll go once every two week to have some drinks and play poker or blackjack. A lot of sexy ladies in there especially the employee ladies who wear their mini small skin tight dress that serves us drinks.

Casino's can see every pimple on your face in HD with the number of cameras in there - if you try to claim a stolen card your ass is going to get roasted. You won't get charged/fined in all likely hood, but they will definitely deny your claim. When they accept credit card they usually have a 3 step verification process:
    1) you insert card and enter your pin
    2) they have a phone attached to the terminal, to call your company and verify the transaction
    3) you get to the cage, and they ask for your ID+Signature, before handing you the chips.

That guy was probably the very first person to ever think of doing this.

@tasburrfoot They don't have 3 step process. Only process number 3. You hand I.d. and cc and signature then you got chips. Don't every casino delete camera image every 2 weeks? Maybe those fraudsters know that because the way they talked it sounds like they done it before.

You could try to do a chargeback scam against a casino, but unless it is a tiny backroom dump, it's pretty unlikely you'll win the chargeback.

If it is an exceptionally small amount, like $20, the casino might just give it to them because it's cheaper than paying someone to do the paperwork.

Also, the casino will probably prosecute you for fraud.

Gambling is not an addiction, but it can be an addiction just like anything else can be an addiction.

Casinos don't delete anything. They have WAREHOUSES to store every discarded deck of cards. They don't even scrap those, you think they aren't storing their tapes as well?

They either destroy the cards or put a hole in the cards and sell them as gifts or for giveaways.

You will probably be charged with fraud. It will be easy to proove it was you who made the transaction (same applies to online). If you can't afford to gamble with your own money then don't gamble at all.

As long as someone is gambling within their entertainment budget it doesn't matter how much they actually spent.

The casinos I worked for when I was younger, and have played at since store all their decks, especially in higher cash rooms - in case someone disputes a shoe, they can go back and count all the cards in there and say no cards were missing and there were no discrepancies. Giving the punched decks away is a novelty, and they usually aren't the decks that were used at the tables.
