Is it possible to know people on the inside of Instagram? Because I’ve had a person who I worked with on Instagram tell me that you shut down an account, all they had to do was pay $1000 and that he had people on the inside. Is this real? You’d think it’s way too professional of a company to let anything like that happen from the inside. Does anyone have any stories that can confirm anything like this?

They are all fake, I got people saying that they can give verification badge to your ig account and ask for a good amount, and they also say that they are from "inside" instagram. But when you ask for proof, they will give you 2-3 usernames that have low followers and are verified, but when you do some research you will find that those accounts are hijacked athlete accounts.

Of course you can know people on the inside. Instagrams professionalism isn't in question due to this, it's employees are.
It is very possible to find someone who knows what they're talking about, however very unlikely as they won't be in the places you'll think

I just had a dude message me and threaten me to shut down my account. Could this even be possible if I did nothing wrong?

There are people, who for various reasons will risk their employment but 90% of people who say they have a contact in a company are fake.
The 10% who do have contacts won't be telling everybody about it and will only work with select people (if they are smart).

I once went to starbucks and I see Mark Zuckerberg with his nice chinese wife and I say oh hi Mark he says oh hi and then I say I need verify badge for my insta and he just open his brand new apple ipad tablet put something there and says what is your usnerma? I told him my username and he said done, youre lucky its my happy day today. I said thank you sir and I left with a verified badge

He would have botnet report your account for various reasons, and could have it taken down.
Don’t you think Instagram actually checks why you’ve been reported and wouldn’t shut you down based on bot accounts they should be able to detect anyways?
