Should you only use h1, h2, h3, h4 once? Or can you use that heading a couple of times in one post? Please explain this to me a little more in depth. Thanks for helping.

You can use each a few times. Normally you only want 1 H1 tag a few H2 tags then more H3 and H4. Normally you have your css file so that when you have a H1 or H2 tag it makes that font bold or larger or whatever. So its basically like a topic. For that section. Then H3 is like important keywords in that post or paragraph. You get the idea right.

I've never used an h4 but usually this is the structure I would recommend.

    <h1>Page Title</h1>

    <h2>Subtitle</h2>

    <h3>important remarks</3>
    <h3>important remarks</3>

    <h2>Subtitle</h2>

    <h3>important remarks</3>
    <h3>important remarks</3>

    <h2>Subtitle</h2>

    <h3>important remarks</3>
    <h3>important remarks</3>

You can have any amount of headlines. However, H1 tag should be on each page only once. Other Hx tags don't matter, altough you should keep logical structure.

Tip: Some WP themes use H1 as logo/home button. You should definitely remove it and wrap Post Title with H1 tag instead.

From my past experience and you know, other guidelines found all around, there should only be ONE H1 tag but there can be multiples of the others like everyone has mentions.

Make sure you recheck each page H1 tags using some free tools/browser's extensions avialable out there.

I use multiple H2 tags to good results.

Typically to highlight secondary key words.
