Just the other day, I listed some ads on some free sites for an accountant friend. She was trying to sell her car. So I helped her, for free. She came back the next day and gave me $100.00.

You guys think that this would be a good concept for people that don't want to go through a dealer and pay big consignment. Or trade the car in for wholesale book.

I was thinking about posting on classified sites, all free autotrader sites. And charge something like $50 upfront, then $50.00 when sold.

What do you guys think? Are people too busy, computer illiterate, and busy to have someone do this for them?

Hey I just ad to mention the craziest thing that happened totally off subject. I made a gmail account about a week ago. First name steele last name balls. Just to be funny. So the other day I have something like 5 tabs open, one of them was black hat world. And anoter was gmail. It was fucking crazy. I go to login to that gmail account, as its loading I switch over to forum, and scroll down and saw your screen name. I was just like WTF that was a weird ass unplanned coincidence!

The same goes for business owners who don't have the slightest idea on how to build and market their website. They'd much rather have someone else do it to save the time of learning it themselves and possibly screwing it up. They'd much rather have a professional or someone with experience do it for them and they don't mind paying for it at all..

So yea, my guess is your friend wanted you to do it because she didn't know and(or) have the time to do it herself.....as will everyone else you decide to charge from now on :)

I think you should keep at this. I personally pay my uncle or cousin to sell my cars for me when I get a new one. I will list the car myself and all on CL but as far as taking them out on a test drive.. explaining everything to them.. and closing the deal.. I hate doing that so I just give whoever does that part for me $100.

So its not always about being computer illiterate it also involves the hassle of dealing with other people or ''selling'' so there's 2 groups of people you could target and bank from.
