Can you give some suggestion on marketing ?

    Hello BHW friends,

    After getting inspired by this method [https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/method-the-ultimate-shopify-guide-to-making-100-day.895900/] i thought of opening my own Shopify store.

    I have made the website in jewelry niche like rings , pendents and added 150+ product via Oberlo.
    Now i am stucked on the 2nd part of the method. That is marketing (advertising).

    As i have told i have chosen jewelry niche so i must target girls only but main queries are

    1) What age range should i focus on
    2) what type of hobbies should i look for the target users
    3) What demographic should i choose
    4) And any other suggestion for targeting jewelry niche users
    5) Should i do ads via facebook or some other medium like instagram.
    6) Where can i find shout-out at affordable rates

    My budget for advertising is $100 at beginning if i see some converstions then will increase the budget 2-3 times..

    Please guys i dont have any experience in marketing please help to make my site gain some success.

    DO any of you guys are using jewelry niche and is getting decent profit ? Can you share what type of users you have targetted.

    I don't have any kind of marketing experience. I am posting this because you are asking again and again for some advice.
    To answer your question every woman loves jewels. Targeting age group of (15-35) will give you more profit.
    Following ideas are taken by searching in google about online shops marketing only. I have mixed some list with my view of thoughts.

    Build an Email List & Send about your Site
    Use Social Media To Attract Attention
    Start Guest Blogging about you site
    Cross Promote with Others
    Use Google Adwords
    Facebook Advertising (Facebook Shop Section)
    Consider an Affiliate Program
    Create a Coupon Code
    Run Contest
    Embrace Video
    Make an Infographic
    send the free sample

    It may not the exact answeres you want. But, I hope it will give some more idea about marketing.
    Search about those topics to know more.

    Finding the right demographic without research might require some expenditure for testing. With your budget, I'd suggest you to try AdWords + Facebook advertising. Basically the flow is like that:

    1. You capture the visitor late on his buying journey, when they are looking to buy the product. Target buyer keywords on AdWords.
    2. Once they're on your website you place a Facebook Pixel so you can reach the people on Facebook with targeted offers. For example, you know they've been looking at Ring A or added Ring B to the cart but abandoned it. Setup dynamic Facebook Ads to offer them lets say 10% off coupon for these rings.
    3. Make sure you know your customer's journey by heart. Where they're coming from, what is their flow once they're on the website, etc. You will get more ideas for advertising.

    The setup above brings high conversion rate but depending on the niche, AdWords campaigns might be expensive. So keep in mind your ROI. After all you need to have money coming in.

    Regarding the demographics its hard to tell since I got no info about your products like pricing, type of jewelry, delivery timing, etc. If they're these kind of handmade stuff, go after hipsters, they love these kind of stuff and Instragram will be your best way to reach them. On Facebook you need to experiment, think of what they like, that kind of behavior they have and what connections you can use to target them.

    If your products are more like fancy jewelry, hence more expensive ones, then I'd go for women in their late 20s, 30s and 40s interested in beauty and well-being. But again, you need to test how these audiences respond to your message.
