For example could I get in some kind of trouble if I sold an ebook that said that you can save money on books by torrenting them?

You are planning to sell an ebook which tells people to save money by torrenting ebooks? Sounds legit.

I don't see how. It's freedom of speech. Suggesting to do something illegal is one thing, taking part of it is another. Otherwise there would be a lot of books out there that would be illegal to sell.

To be sure, reframe it into "some people download books from torrents to save money" instead of "you should go and download books from torrents to save money"
