i want to copy the website content db etc to a fresh domain (i dont want to copy links/linkjuice etc as that is the prob so not worries about redirects)

i tried using wp-clone plugin but it wont work because i have like 20+ sites/domains all on the same database so its screws up when copy the db i guess since its 214 or so megs.

so how do i do it manually?

since all sites are on one db how can i make the new site see the db info form the other domain when its still in the same db itself?

they both use the same database just with different table prefix.

i exported the relevant files with phpmyadmin but am unsure where/how i should import them since its the same databse id be importing them back into!??

do i have to remane them? if so to what, etc.

plus anyhting else i have to do?

    Ranko,

Because themes, widgets and other elements of your wordpress install store values with the length of your URL's marked, everything will break when it is moved or changed. You must do a search and replace of these strings when you move the site to the new database.

You can do this with the Search and Replace for Wordpress Databases script. You can find the script here, http://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/

Download and install the script into the root of your domain and then visit the location of the file online. Instructions recommend renaming the file first before proceeding and deleting it first thing after you are finished.

    Hope that helps,

    Shawn
