I have been through a few articles on BHW and I'm yet to get a definitive answer on domain name registration. I will be using 5 good hosting company's on shared IP's , but whats the recommendations for the actual registration details of the domain or even the hosting ?
Also can you use the same credit card or paypal for everything?

Add whois privacy on 70- 80% of domains. The rest fake details.

That's one of the good things about GDPR: Most domains now come with free private whois, at least with the big registrars like namecheap, name.com, namesilo et al. We only use 6 domain registrars for all our domains for our PBN, never had any issues.

Of course you can use the same PP/CC.

I use name cheap UK2 and go daddy - host my money sites on the company's own web server.

Why can't you add... you're using different hosting with different companies so why can't you add & use same details?

That is very very rare, I never heard of that, but if you host your 500 - 1,000 domains just in 1-2 domain registrars in one account, that maybe, pose a problem.

But even with that, you may still survive, just, nowadays people love diversify things to avoid potential dangers, like spread domains on different registrars, accounts, each hosting with different IP, each with different themes, different patterns, make it like a real website, even put on ads, etc, etc.

Some people even just use cloudflare to mask them without issues in old days...

If you get whois privacy on all domains, then no problem with using real details. If you do not want to use whois, then definitely go for fake details. However be careful with using fake details on Godaddy. Not sue why but they are really paranoid about it. They asked me for ID confirmation twice.

Using cloudflare can only mask the original IP of the domain not mask the registrar details. Registrar details will have to be masked using whois privacy services. Namesilo offer free whois privacy and there are few more who offer free whois privacy

You can definitely use the same paypal and credit card details, these are with registrar and never made public. However, registration details if not made private is available in public to connect all your domains together, if google desires
