I'm about to type the same tags for all of my posts right now, but tags are related to all of my posts, does Google allow using the exact same tags for thousands of posts?

I couldn't find my answer on Google, sorry :/

Tags functions like categories, the difference is that you can not have sub-tags as you can with sub-categories, but you often use multiple tags on a post unlike categories where you mostly use one only. Just use them wisely, no problems.

I mean Google probably won't pay much attention if you have the exact same tags on all posts. It probably won't hurt your rankings, but it really won't help either. When Google indexes your tag pages they are going to all have the exact same content. Is there no way to vary your tags a bit?

Avoid tag spamming for regular sites. But if you got an adult tube site, go for it with unique ones for every video.

it's about that :) :) The tags are related to all of the posts. There is no irrelevant tags. I already have the videos so i cannot edit the posts one by one so im just copying and pasting the same tags to all of my posts.

If you don't have unique tags, Google will have difficulty categorizing your pages for index. This might lead to keyword cannibalization where all your pages compete for the same set of keywords.

If you use the same hashtags for every post, your content will be penalized by the algorithm. When you create a post, only use hashtags that make sense.

If too many articles go under the same tag, Google will likely see it as a fixed URL within your site. Problem being if the same articles show over and over again, it might trigger some automated filter.

im not writing any articles, there is only the titles and the videos and nothing else. the tags are all related to all of the videos. If it's not allowed by Google then i will leave all the tags empty and there will only be the titles and the videos and nothing else.

IMO if that's the case, then you need a category and not a tag.

Tags are supposed to differentiate the videos. If your tag is generic enough that all videos share it, it's not a good key classifier

Note that Google has nothing to do with this. It's just gonna waste your crawl budget on a tag that doesn't really sort the articles in any meaningful way.

You don't need tags if those posts are categorized

Do not use same tags for all posts, it will confuse Google and give them wrong impression.

When you’ve chosen the right tags and tagged your posts nicely, you’re done for a while, but not forever!
Your site structure, just as everything else on your site, requires regular maintenance.
You might think of new topics to write about or the focus of your business might shift.
So make sure to go through your tags regularly, remove redundant ones and check if you’ve added any new topics you’re writing about.

my website is actually a :) :) video website, so there is no descriptions, no articles, there is only the videos and the titles and nothing else. Today I checked some other websites and I've noticed that almost all of the websites are using the same tags for all of the posts, and I've even seen some irrelevant tags for example the video is about yoga exercise but I see bicep curl and bench press tags and also some popular website's domain names are written in the tags. My tags are all relevant to all of the videos, for example my tags are : exercise, workout, watch exercises etc. so there is no irrelevant tags at all.

Usually, you can use the same tags on various pages, but make sure that you don't add exactly the same tags on each page to avoid tag spamming. Maybe use some variations or try to define some other categories as well.

No there would be no issues with this because Google will not be monitoring these activities very often, yes you use the same tags for different pages without any issue.
