Hi, I'm new to SEO World, I want to know your expertise

can we still rank our website on google without adding the website in to google webmaster?

100% - however unless you are on top of your game it is easy to miss the technical SEO issues your site has, which GSC point out very quickly. I cannot think of a reason not to list with GSC but it will not stop you making money if you are on your game.

I can find some reasons.
For example, footprinting on micrositing.
Although for ranking and money-site purposes, it's almost a must (in fact, this is one of the first things that web hijackers usurp when they take over the file directory to start indexing their new shit like mad)
But they don't care about footprints, and sometimes it could be a major clue of how you are creating your network (associating to same accounts, specially when you manage a ton of sites).

So for money sites you agree?

I use different accounts for my PBN's I add to GSC and probably do a 65/35 split. 65% not added. Works so far over the last 6 years.

Yea exactly i wanted to ask for my PBNs. so it doesn't matter

Of course.
Some of my website were never add to GSC and I discovered I rank on first page for some keywords. I don't even have GA on it.

You can not list with Google Webmaster and be totally fine. Look up the list of common errors that GSC finds and keep track of those items in regards to your website.

It becomes easy to overlook common errors. I had a breadcrumbs problem 3 days ago that caught me off guard and I’ve been doing this for awhile.

You must be then Google's fav Guy :D
Not really :D
It was a technical article. On this site, there is no Google Analytics, because I prefer Matomo, and it is not monetized at all.
One day when I was looking for documentation on a similar subject, I found myself in front of the first results of Google and I discovered that I was in third position.
In my “official” job, I can't finish one of my competitors, who is systematically ahead of me in the results. And I know that he doesn't use any Google product.
All this to say that there is no link between using Google tools (Analytics, Search Console or other) and being well referenced.

I think overtime, Google picks up your website long as it is not blocked by the robots.txt file or via any other means.

it will help a lot when you are starting but in the long run you will still rank without it.

Web crawlers in Google's search engine continuously analyze the web in order to find relevant results

I recently found a website without robots.txt and sitemap. I don't think if they've done any SEO or added the site to GSC. They have over 1 Million organic visits per month. I guess you got your answer.

sure it depends of the niche and your work behind
