Can we rank on Google without backlinks?

In my experience, focusing solely on quality content when building a new website is an extremely sound approach. It helps you build a solid foundation before considering scaling up. Furthermore, it heavily depends on keyword competitiveness. For very niche sites or long-tail keywords, quality content combined with proper on-page SEO is often enough to help you rank highly on Google

It is possible in some cases. Like suppose you are financial expert and can express your feelings in easy language. There could be good demand for such content. You have to make sure that you market the site well though.
 
That is possible if content is very good.
 
It can happen, especially for very low-competition or long-tail keywords. Good content and solid on-page SEO sometimes carry a page pretty far. But in most niches, a few quality backlinks usually help push rankings further.

yeah, it can work, but only in certain situations. if you target low competition keywords, good content plus solid on page seo can rank..... i’ve seen pages rank with zero backlinks, but mostly for long tail queries where competition is weak. once you go after anything even slightly competitive, content alone usually hits a ceiling. google still relies on links as a trust signal, especially for new sites.....my approach is content first, get some traction, then add links slowly. that’s way more reliable.

Exactly How long do you usually wait before starting to add backlinks for a new site?
 
Yes you can rank without backlinks, especially for low competition and long tail keywords I have seen the pages rank jsut with good content and proper on page SEO.

the website development process part takes around a month so after that . on page and off page must go on simulataneously
 
Yes it can work especially on low competition keywords. But once you target harder serps good content alone usually plateaus so backlinks become the multiplier after on page starts getting impressions
