It's not that I don't think they are useful, I'm sure they are. But there are so many of these threads, it seems like they need their own area. That way, those of us who don't read them can just filter them out. And those who do read them, can browse and entire sub-forum for them.

They provide great inspiration and help to those who read them. Can we make it easy and just consolidate them into one subforum?

Is anyone else with me? Or am I just crazay?

    +1 for this.

Case studies, my journey, follow me

All that shit should have a section. Most of the time the OP wont reply after a week anyways.

Thats the most frustrating part of this and also outlines the underlying factor on why so many fail. They do not follow up and usually are not disciplined enough to have some sort of documentation of their methods.

Sounds liker a good plan. There have been getting to be an awful lot of them, and we all know how they're going to end most of the time, lol.

Instead, make 2 sections. One called "Finished journeys" and "Failed journeys". Something tells me there will be no threads in the first one...

I would like this. I always enjoy reading those threads, and it is frustrating as hell when the OP stops updating them, but I guess we all know what that means. They figured out that there is a lot of work in this area and probably lost most of their interest lol. Either that or they hit it biiiiiiiiiiig and dont have time for BHW anymore.
    Regardless, excellent idea OP.

There are lessons to be learn from each case study and journey, whether it is "finished" or "failed". If we segregate these, people won't be reading the latter, and they will be absolutely useless.

There's already a sub-forum for the 'Journey' and 'Follow Me' type threads.
    It's called: Making Money

Problem is noobs or those that can't be bothered just start threads in the main Black Hat SEO forum.

It's up to you to report these threads to the Mods who can then move them to the relevant section.

I agree with the op. You can find valuable information in the follow me type threads. It just takes time to read through them.
a subforum would make it easyer to sort through and read the ones you would like.

For me they just clutter and take away from useful information. I don't care to watch you think you'll be a millionaire overnight and disappear when reality slaps you in the face.

Yeah its a good idea. I have learned a lot from some journey threads but its disappointing to see so many people opening new threads only to abandon them after few days.

They either completely fail and give up, thus they stop updating (> 95% )

They find something that works and realize sharing it in it's entirety with a public forum is retarded (< 5%)
