Hi All
I have doubt about the following
Can we create a Different Business Profile (Google My Business Profile) from a Single Address?
This is a no-brainer and also entirely within Google's terms of service if done correctly. We have dentists with up to 7 additional GMBs with one location, lawyers with 5 or more, and so on. Here is the formula for legal success.
1. Create a new business - Google wants to provide the best user experience for a search so they use relevancy as a main consideration. This makes it hard for a business to offer multiple services and still stay legit. So by spending an average of $25, you can have a client create a DBA for each specialty they want to compete in. Ex: Lawyers and personal injury, business, estate, tax, and more. Dentists can also be cosmetic dentists, orthodontists to focus on Invisalign, etc.
2. Have the new business filed with a Suite # with the same address as the main business and file the new address with the post office. This is the whole basis of a high-rise or muli-unit complex housing many businesses of the same type at the same address. Again, they just have to be real.
3. Name the new business for relevancy - Cosmetic Dentist of (City), The Personal Injury Law Firm of (city), and so on. Note: This is not new, but by making them real businesses, they are not spam and are completely legit.
4. Set Them Up Online like you would the main business - File new directories and citations, social media, optimize the GMB by reverse engineering who is ranking for the keywords to you want, all the usual stuff.
5. Don't Use Tracking Numbers - Have the client get new phone numbers from their existing carrier.
Most local businesses have multiple categories of services and products. Yet, secondary categories on one GMB rarely do the trick. It is not against Google's terms of services to own more than one business, so expanding this way allows a business to grow without investing in another location and still allows you as Local SEO to double, triple and more the phone calls legally this way.
