Can Top 10 Videos in Youtube be demonetised?

I am on the phase of choosing a solid niche for my Youtube Channel. I already have 142 subs and 1400 watch time but I don't have a niche. To increase sub count I am deciding on a niche. I am thinking something like Top 10 lists or Videos which explain about interesting things. I am concerned if this is a good choice or can this lead to demonetisation as I'll be using content of our creators for a brief moment of time during my videos. 80% of my videos will be original content! Thoughts?

they can demonetize you if they deem your content 'low effort' content. I saw it happen to a channel that had something similar to a Top 10 lists niche get de-monetized.

The issue with his videos was that he only used pictures and very little text (he didnt add voice either)

You have to make your vids as professional as possible (like watchmojo), you dont have to speak but you do have to add a lot of text if you decide not to use your voice

You can get away with using editing that doesnt look that professional but you will have to speak a lot and show your face.

watchmojo is playing with cheat codes also. those older channels like that were basically grandfathered in, you can't necessarily do the same thing as them and not get demonetized.
