I have someone emailing me and threatening me and this and that. Saying they have my name and everything and will blast my name and everything to the Internet in a bad way.

I use name cheap and have whois protection but can they still get any info on me if so how?

Chances are that its a bluff, Unless you have specifically put your information on your site (or linked to a personal sm account) whois protection should do the trick.

as the member above me said, whois protection will hide any info you used while registering the domain only. If you however linked to yourself in any way on the site, for example you put your personal email on the site somewhere or some other contact info that is related to your real identity, then it's possible.
It's probably a bluff though, but why would they care to threaten you in the first place?
