My site is ranked number #2 for my top keywords in Google, but nowhere in Bing.
Is it possible to rank well for the same site for Google and Bing? What is your experience?

If you optimize your site to the requirements of both search engines, you will generally rank well in both when you start ranking.

Google and Bing have similar guidelines, but Bing tends to take a bit longer to rank content but requires less work once you know their algorithms. If you rank well in Google just continue to do your on-page/off-page SEO normally and submit your sitemap to Bing if you didn't already and you should start ranking soon.

Of course you can rank G and B at the same time.

This is interesting. I don't pay attention to Bing at all but based on my past experience and what other BHW'ers have said exact match anchors help more in Bing, which usually means you're penalized in Google.

And that's true, to rule Bing all it needs is a EMD plus a blast of PBN links with a high exact match keyword anchor percentage. It's like ranking in Google when ALN and BMR still worked.

Yes. There should not be any problem.

You could rank on both at the same time, compare their top ranking sites and identify the common factors.

I have had several sites ranked both on G and B at the same time. If you have proper On page ( a very very important thing for Bing) and good links...it should not be an issue.

I've ranked a shampoo review niche site #1 in Google and top 3 in Bing but it didn't cause any significant rise in traffic. Bing doesn't send much traffic to my sites so I don't even care about how I rank in Bing.

I've had mixed experiences with Bing. A very competitive travel keyword ranked high on bing but nowhere to be seen on Google even after throwing kitchen sink at it. More often than not since most of us concentrate and discuss and live on ranking on google, bing appears to be an alien in terms of algo but as a framework and guidelines for it, its the same.
