Can someone please explain youTube Insight to me?

I was looking at youTube insight and noticed something weird. A while back I posted a video and boost it about 15k per day for about 3 days. I am looking at insight and it says on those days I only have about 3.5k per day (not 15k) and my unique visitors is almost as high as the total views it says.

I don't get it.. Should my views be higher (15k) and shouldn't my unique views be waayyy less? Since I was only using a few hundred proxies you would expect the uniqueness to be around 100:1 (100 hits per proxy), but it seem to be more like 5:4. huh? lol I obviously don't get what it means. Help?

Does google analytics work in the same way?

LOL, yeah, same with me! Of course, if you look at the country info, you have views in all different countires, since all the proxies are from all over the world, but it still counts them as unique viewers for some reason.
