Can someone make a living from AC?

I have 30 articles on there. for the backlinks. They earn residually $2 a month. I did not do the upfront pay. If you skip the upfront pay the articles go live when you submit them. Easy method for backlinks for some of you. Or if you are a good spinner or have a cheap enough ghost writer you could make a little extra each month to pay for other stuff you are doing.

so ive been doing this pretty regularly for a month or so now.

submitting at least 5-10 rewritten articles a day. all on one legit verified account. have not had any sort of warnings or whatnot, but again they are not gibberish articles...

its a nice little paycheck that is 100% dependable with no investment, which is the main attraction for someone new to IM like me. working an hour or two a day at it makes enough to pay the rent if you know what i mean.

the real problem is it quickly becomes immensely tedious. plus keeping good ghost writers is hard as most are foreign idiots or actual english-speakers who are unemployed and get hired back to a real job quickly...

the residual income is basically nothing, having around 200 articles up now and getting an average of about 50 hits ($0.10) per day. once a month or so ive gotten an article featured which blasts a few thousand per day for a fea days. averages out to about $10/month
Maybe doing some backlinking and off page seo could boost that, but you can get a much better CPM return with just about anything else...

if you really sat down and worked 40 hours a week on it you could easily make a 'living wage', but would be pretty painful.

tl;dr
guaranteed income with no investment. grind out some change then put it into a real site.

i was referring to 100/wk when just testing out the waters.

depending on your outsourcing situation, id say you could swing it into the 10-15/hour range, which easily matches or beats the 5-7/hr minimum, or the slightly more you would get as an office temp doing the same shit 9to5

Speaking realistic, you can't really make a living off AC. The maximum number of article to submit each day is around 10 and sometimes that is even pushing it with AC.

Average article is around $4 so that is only $40 bucks a day.

What if i sumbit same article to all article sites like AC, infobarrel, snipsly, hubpages, demand studios, textbroker, etc. Can i make money on same article through all these sites.

the few writers I discovered who wrote for my writing team use to "live and die" with AC. now they live with my outsourcing

so yeah, 3rd world country folks can live with AC type of living

It's better to write the original and submit it to the best paying site, then manually re-write it for submission to the second best paying site, so there is no duplicate content issue. Better still, write 10-15 articles on the same topic on this basis, wait a month or two and then sell the bundle as PLR text or audio, an e-course, ebook, or as part of a minisite pack. Milk the two sets of content, your originals and your re-writes, about 4-5 ways in this fashion. Your earnings per article can jump from $4-7, to $19-$20 on this basis.

AC wouldn't have a problem with the "multiple accounts" situation if they would just let people submit how many articles they desire.

AC is very strict but I don't know how it's been since Yahoo bought them. I was getting paid only $2.50 for each article or sometimes even less. Does anyone know if that has changed or not or it's the same pay?

I don't really think AC is worth it unless you live in a country where $100 is a ton of money.

Anyone know how they are paying now? I have submitted a few articles for testing purposes to see how they are doing. They are taking a long time to get to them.

If you are having trouble getting topics to write about....browse Yahoo Answers for topics.

Start turning questions into articles....If you browse long enough you can get some unique topics to write about.

Depending on your situation, it might be worth earning money from sites like Associated Content, Bukisa, Triond, Helium, etc. Demand Studios has jobs that you select and pays you money for exclusive ownership of what you write. It pays better than the other sites because of this, but they are paying you because they know they can make more money long-term from advertising. So cutting out the middle man long-term makes sense.

Also, you're probably going to get caught on some sites (for using articles you didn't write). If you write articles yourself, I find it gets painfully boring. If you're interested in writing about things like "how to save money on car insurance" and "how do you tell if a boy likes you," you'll make a lot more money from article writing. Specialized areas can also be profitable, such as writing about obscure medical conditions.

I found article writing got extremely boring, myself. I'm not making revenue now aside from around 10 dollars a month. I wrote about two novels (word count) worth of articles. Because I wrote about what I enjoy (philosophy, politics), they weren't profitable. Most of the little money I still get is from boring things like I described earlier.

One trick you can use to find article topics is to go to forums for Associated Content and other sites. Search phrases like "my article made" or "success story." Braggarts like to tell you about how much money they make from an article on topic X. Go make article on topic X, make money. You could also steal the topics and make articles for your own sites. Demand Studios has topics that they screen for SEO value. While there may be some legal issues involved, you could use a Demand Studios account to steal topic ideas. The terms of service agreement likely makes you subject to a lawsuit, so you'd want to use some blackhat methods.

What's the translation method? do you just take foriegn content and change it to english?

I've read that spinning helps, aswell as translating a article through a couple different languages then back to English.
