Sorry if this thread is in the wrong place but not sure where to post it. I would have put it on the $400 a week writing articles thread but that thread has turned into something quite different now...

anyway I just ran a ccleaner clean on my browser. then I searched for the main keyword I am targetting with an article. to my delight the top position on page one seemed to be my article.. same title, same meta description. etc. However when I clicked on it to double check it took me to a similar article by a different person...

so what's that about then?? the meta description on the SERP was definitely mine I checked it. The article that it linked to had a completely different meta description I checked that too.

Is this some sort of glitch or could someone have hijacked my article in some sort of way?

any advice appreciated.

You mean on a Google search, you see what appears to be your article, but when you click it, it is not? If your articles are still there, then it sounds like AB error.

If you are 100% sure that is your article then just go into your article account and change then link. It should be linking to whatever you originally intented to link to but there might be an error (on article base or maybe you made a mistake when you linked to the website).

Just log into your account and change the link. There should be no way anybody can hack or hijack your account unless they have your password as far as I know.

Hopefully you can get this fixed because if you are ranked on the first page that article could be getting you a lot of sales!!!

If that doesn't work then I would suggest contacting Article Base and ask them to get them to fix it for you.

good luck!!!

thanks for the ideas people!
When I search for the title now I get two copies on the results page of google - one which is a cahched version which links to this other guys article and a non cached version which links to my article. weird...
