What if the sites are hosted by different web host? How can you check all these sites in just one place when they are all hosted by different web hosts?

Mate, you can always add domains to analytics irrespective of where your website is hosted..

Just add the analytics code to your webpages and track them. You can also try statcounter which is free as well :)

Ya, analytics works great. You can also use it to keep track of conversions on landing pages and stuff like that.

Apparently it used to be a really expensive corporate software that cost a lot of money to use, but Google bought it and made it free so they could gather data about adwords conversions or something.

And if you dont want to let google spy on your data, use piwik.org , it's open source and you can install on your hosting ;)

Yes, you can use analytics with any TLD you want (if that's what you're asking) as long as it's yours.
