can someone get my ip off of youtube?

Only somebody that has access to the server log files.

When you are paranoid about your IP leaking use Tubemogul.
In Tubemogul you load your vids and Tubemogul posts them with the title, tags and description to YouTube.
Their IP gets registered at YouTube, not yours.

i'm guessing that getting access to server logs is not that easy? i mean, should i be worried in any way? (just said something stupid in a moment of anger... now she says she "knows where I am"... any truth to it?)

LOL

very little truth to that statement. An IP can't be traced to a specific household and in many cases, even a city.

At best, they can find out where your ISP is located (usually within 20 miles of where you live). Other than that, unless they get law enforcement involved, they won't have access to your address, phone number, anything.. Unless you submitted that information publicly for a domain or something.

Yeah right. Tell her you're a blackhatter and not to F*ck with you.

Are you saying I don't need to use proxies, just this Tubemogul???

Yes, using proxies to upload your vids is way too slow.

Use proxies, if you want, to make your account(s) including one at Tubemogul.

Upload your vids to Tubemogul without a proxy.

Insert your account data into Tubemogul and it posts your vids to all the sites you selected.

Should they check at YT they will see the IP from Tubemogul.

Now on proxies. I got hundreds of accounts on vid sites including YT.
Sometimes I loose a few cause people flag them.
I never used proxies to sign up and never had any trouble singing up again and again and again...

Some vid sites "read" your IP and pinpoint it to the city it is from.
Dailymotion is one of them. Just upload a vid there and check the details.
Only, you can change this PUBLIC info to any city you want after uploading.

At the moment YT isn't adding data to the vid of the city where it was uploaded from.

And no, getting to the server logs isn't easy. Only YT employees have access to these files.
And they won't let themselves get involved in a online quarrel....
