    ok... I give up..

I can't figure out whats going on here. I currently rank #3 in Google for a keyword that supposedly gets over 400 exact searches a day.

I get exactly 7-10 visitors a day from google organic searches.

How the freak is this even possible??

(dont know if its against the rules to post my page and keyword or I will )

You are free to post your link and keyword for critique.

However it wouldn't be the smartest idea considering you'll have competition within the first day.

What tool is telling you that your keyword is getting 400 searches a month?

Well out of these 400 searches a day (which the number itself can be up for debate)

350 of them rely on G and realize that G has a reputation for giving the best answer first. Those 350 are clicking on the first link and getting what they want.

20 of them are possibly clicking on whatever ad may or may not be displayed.

23 of them are clicking on position 2

    and then comes you.

Thats my analysis of the question without a url. Get to position 1 over time. Hopefully it pans out for you!

    Cheers,
    Miller

Download and install domain samurai - Google it and I think you will get it for free from their own website.

Go to keyword analysis and then put in your keyword and then analyze it. It will give out a figure for the estimated % of searches clicking on the first ranked Google results.

Usually, this will be something between 30-40% depending on the niche. If the figure is however a lot lower or a lot higher, that means that your competition is getting bulk of the traffic. Also, if there are several PPC advertisers, that will also drive down the clicks to your website.

It also depends on so many other things like the quality of your title that is displayed in the search result. If your title does not sound inviting to the reader, they will just skip and click on somebody else.
