Can somebody explain to me this.

I've been trying to rank for certain longtail keywords for more than two months but only get to the bottom of page one and top of page two. Steps I've took was linking from my PBN sites, blog commenting and some Web 2.0's.

I've checked the top 5 sites through MOZ and Adher's but don't see any backlinks from PBN sites. It shows 0 root domains and 0 established links. Even my DA, PA, Root Domain links, and Total Established Links is much better then my competitors. My competitors even have some spam score while mine shows nothing.

So what am I suppose to do? Any advice would be helpful.

Are their domains much older? If yours is a newcomer by comparison it might take a little longer. How would you compare your content to theirs?

Competitors site could be older than mine with more pages
My site is actually 10 months old and my on page is good according to Yoast plugin. I've even interlink some older post to the new ones for some extra juice. And word count is more than 1200 words.

@wayne1977 I think people (such as your competitors) can block MOZ from crawling their sites. So, you see nothing.

If they block crawlers they don't crawl their site. But it stills crawls other sites so you would see its backlinks. If it had pbns and it blocked crawlers then you wouldent see the links from the pbns

Thanks but how on earth will I be able to know how many backlinks I need to top them.

Than I'll just have to build more backlinks and see where it takes me.

You can check out backlink watch to extract competitors back links.

That won't work if the competitors have already blocked crawling. The best way is to keep on working on your backlinks till you top them

You really don't need to know how many more links you need to beat them. You just need to keep building quality links.

they have blocked the bots for sure ,

if the niche is easy / mid medium go with a 10 homepage pbn links
