I've recently discovered social exchange sites and how amazing they can be when used well. I only have one concern... is using social exchange sites against YouTube's TOS and would my account be in danger of being banned by using these?

I know the hits are coming from different IP's and not 1 or a few IP's 1000's of times so it will look natural, but I'm afraid that the traffic will be shown coming from the same origin point of the social exchange site. This is where I'm not sure if it's something you can be banned from.

I have a pretty decent size channel and I don't need this to be successful, but I know it's one hell of a tool if it's not against ToS. My account isn't worth risking a ban for, so I figured I would ask some more experienced users what their opinion on this matter is?

If you have got monetization enabled, then yes, there is a very good chance your account will get banned. Otherwise, the most that can happen is your promoted video taken down.

So just disable monetization on the video I'm promoting and I should be fine? Or are you talking about having monetization enabled on my account in general? Another thing I was wondering about.. does YouTube have any ideas on your subscriber numbers? Using social exchange to get higher sub numbers doesn't seem like it would land you a ban, unless they do monitor this?

See, let me explain a bit more clearly. If you got monetization 'enabled' on your video/s and boost with social exchange sites, there is a very good chance your account will get banned. On the other hand, if you are not into 'blackhat' niches and promote your videos(with monetization NOT enabled) through such sites, I think it will not have any negitive impact except that it will help you rank your videos.

You are worried that means you are trying to use it on your main
youtube account and I think monetization is on at there.

Use this kind of service where you want to rank your video and
drive traffic to the link in description.

In nutshell Any false views are against youtube TOS
