Can PayPal link accounts by bank routing number? Or by similar bank account numbers?

As the title suggests my question is simple. Can PayPal link two accounts based on the fact that they both have similar but not the same bank account numbers?
Or based on the fact that they have the same bank routing number?
I highly doubt they can link accounts based on the same routing number because a bank will assign all of its account holders the same routing number. However I could be wrong so if anyone would be willing to shed some light on this that'd be great.

So for example are there any stealth account holders here who have a bank of america account with multiple checking accounts for each stealth account?

Completely unrelated question for bonus points: I need an address for a new stealth account, should I just use a business address? Or should I use an address similar to my own but slightly off. For example: Paul Street 1389 to Paul Street 1398?

    Thanks

No you won't be linked because of account number alone. Maybe if you created two bank accounts in a row and somehow got two sequential account numbers (i.e. 111111 and 111112), and other information is similar across the two accounts then you could be linked but the odds of that happening are extremely low. And it can be eliminated completely by just creating the accounts at different times of the day (though just waiting a few minutes would be more than enough time) and making sure all other information is different, if you're really paranoid.

And no you won't be linked by routing number. Limited, yes, if it's from a blacklisted bank but not linked. You can use 1 bank exclusively for all your stealths but it really depends on how many accounts you have. It's never a good idea to have a lot of bank accounts with one bank. Spread them out across many different ones.

If you're asking should you try to "create" a new address (one that doesn't exist), then don't. You'd likely get 0/0 limits, or face other problems down the line. You need a real address for each account. Ideally one you have access to, and completely different from every other account.

Bank routing numbers are the same for all clients in the same state (in the US at least). So there is no link there.

Bank account numbers are going to be pretty much the same for all clients of that bank. No link there.

If you have legit PP accounts, you can use the same address for all of them. I've asked them specifically about this because a lot of our clients use our office address. For a stealth account, who knows.

The only way they might link you is if you accidentally tried to use the same bank account number that you already used previously on PayPal and it gave you this bank account number has already been used message.

If that wont link you it will definitely get attention on your account.
