I ask this because I have been ripped off a few thousand dollars from an investing company for refusing to refund me the cost of a course I purchased.

I want to sell these online to people who don't want to pay full price and I want to be able to only give my paypal address for them to deposit funds.

I am aware what I am doing is illegal in terms of copyright but the refusal of this company to refund me what is rightfully mine is a risk I am willing to take.

I just want to know if my paypal address can be traced back to me or is there a way to set up one that won't?

I think it can be traced if it is linked to your others accounts and you are using your own ips. But only FBI or something like that can traced not normal people.

why don't you buy a verified US account here from somebody along with the needed papers to unlimit it just in case? and use proxies/vpn, if you want to do blackhat
yea, it will cost you $$$, but if you make thousands of profit
if you follow the rules and don't do anything stupid, it hardly can be traced back to you

I was also wondering the same type of thing today. What is the best way to cover your tracks with paypal? I have 2 verified accounts and 2 unverified. Can I have the money be spent to one unverified, then send that money as a gift to my verfieid account, then transfer that to my actual bank account? Im not worried about paypal tracking me down, Im more worried about a pissed of guy that might hunt me down.

use different ips and diiferent pay pal accounts. If possible use your friends pay pal accounts. You can use up to 2 verified pay pal accounts on your name.according to my knowledge it is hard to trace unverified accounts but make sure that it has very less transactions.

    C'mon people, it's paypal you're talking about.
One thing, if you sell copyright material for pennies, nobody would care, but if you sell a product that costs thousands, the company can easily start some legal actions against you, and paypal will gladly give away your info (plus your dog's name and breed and how often does he pee). Otherwise paypal is a b**ch, and wouldn't let you take the money from the account. Nowadays the money trails will bring directly to your door, there is no such thing as anonymous money account.

LOL.. if you're gonna sell it, set up a donation button on a website. . and have people donate money to you...then just email them the course, but upload it to media fire, and send them a link to a "leaked copy you found online".

    Done.

You don't have to trace anything? You can just click on more details and paypal will tell you everything about the seller like the address, phone number, email address, and full name. Of course you could fake this info, you still have to run paypal through your bank so no matter what, you're going to leave a trail.

But I have to say something about your plan. These guys that took your money are scammers, they'll just sue you and get even more out of you!

Of course re-purposing/rewriting/remaking the course you bought would make it your own which you could sell and never have to worry about it. If it was a vid tutorial take the time and video-tape yourself going over the same strategies in different words. If it was a series of ebooks or something just rewrite it!

Of course if this place really did rip you off of your "thousands" of dollars paypal and any other company would have a lawyer or whatever look over your claims. Paypal is famous for denying these when they're pennies but if they supposedly took that much from you they'll definitely look into pretty deeply.
