If i have many different long tail keywords that are extremely similar only one or two words off should I write multiple articles for each of them on one site?

    For example:

    best cleaning products
    best cleaner products
what is the best cleaning product

These all have different search amounts. Should I write separate articles for all of these? Is there such a thing as too many keywords or too similar on a site that google will have an issue with?

This may be a dumb question but I just want to cover all my basses.

I would be writing one pretty good sized article and slipping those KWs in without making it look as if you are stuffing them into the article... they are pretty similar and it would look very natural to do that.

You can add "supplementary" articles to the site that would have them in there as well if you choose but I think you'll find that the one article ends up ranking for KWs that are that similar should you manage the on and off site well.

OP, I wouldn't do that as your articles would be competing against each other and neither would really rank that good... I did something similar over 5 years ago on one of my websites and it's not the best idea (and that's why I'm working now on re-organising my website and it takes some time as it has too many pages).

As BTB said, sneak in those keywords in one article and if you feel like then add supplementary articles to support it.

Similar longtails much cause huge keyword diversity for the root keyword from which the longtails got originated

LSIs are good to go as they will send a collective niche content signal to Google!
