    Hi All,
Just as the title right says, i am looking forwards to produce my own facebook PVA for my new facebook marketing strategy and would need lots of verified accounts. I am wondering if i could use Twilio or any other service providing virutal local line for verification purposes. Please advise accordingly or provide any suitable alternative you think is good for me.
    thanks in advance.

I've never heard of Twilio before. Their site looks cool. Btw, I've been wondering the same thing for a long time; I'd love to know the solution to this.

    Guys!
Twilio is THE most awesome thing I've seen in a LONG time.

Do you have any freakin' IDEA what you can do with this??
I've only recently discovered it, and have already uploaded the OpenVBX
to my server, upgraded my account, got a local number, and have been rocking it out!

Do yourself a favor & get on this.
Yes, it will work w/ a freakin' FB acct. CL acct., etc.

    Here's how:
You just get your Twilio & OpenVBX shit set up. (that means uploaded & configured, etc)
Go ahead & upgrade your acct. It won't cost you anything. They just want your credit
card # for future potential purchases or whatever.

Set up your billing for the minimum - for now. That means something like
"Charge me $20 if my account goes below $10" or whatever.
It will take a lot to get it to that amount at this point,
and by that point, you'll be so in love that you won't care.

Then, just configure your new number w/ your account.
YOu'll need to play with it a little bit to figure out how to do that,
but I have faith in you!

Finally, just set up a New Flow w/ the new Twilio number that you just got to
automatically call you at your 'regular' number & follow along w/ the voice prompts.

    Done!

    Total cost: $0.
But you will have to give them your credit card number. Awwwwww.

    Hope this helps!
Please hit the 'thanks' if so - it's appreciated.

    Peace,

    BigDaddy

Ok...Here's more info for you regarding this issue.

And I'm gonna give you a link for some VIDEOS
that will coach you thru some of the technical parts of what I just
    described above.

Do ya love me or what? lol

Now, at the time I'm writing this, what I wrote above is true.
What the guy says in the video may only slightly contradict
what I mentioned regarding how they charge you $20.
For me at this time, it was free. No charge.
However, Twilio might change that at any time (they might get greedy).

Anyway, go get your learn on for this incredible stuff right here (direct access),
and watch video #2 to see how to easily forward your calls:

Hi, Ive just come across Twilio while searching for a method to verify a load of facebook accounts. Browsing for some more info Ive landed on this page and has inspired me enough to upgrade the account with some cash and get started, however Im a little lost as to how to see the text message Facebook has sent. Bigdaddy If you have a chance can you please advise me on how to get started, or send me a quick PM, cheers.

    Lee.

I've tried using Twilio for SMS/Voice verification on both FB and CL, and apparently they are 'shielded' from the use of VOIP as part of the verification process. However, there's an option @ Twilio that allows verifying any number whatsoever, but I'm not quite sure whether the caller ID will have it's effect - they'll probably figure out whether it's a landline or SIP. Any1 has had positive outcomes on this?
