Most CPA networks allow you to place your own tracking pixels on your account.

But shaving isn't the only thing that will affect your conversions.

Things like traffic quality, landing pages, sales funnel, image ads, headlines etc will have a much more bigger affect on your conversions than networks shaving your leads.

Can you really know for sure? No, because you are not in control of the pages the pixel will be hosted on. The network or the advertiser themselves could remove the pixel from the page at any time, or choose not to fire your pixel, manually or programmatically.

Short answer in the context of the first question is no, it would not show. If the party in control of the page(or global pixel on that page) hosting the pixel doesn't want it to show, it will not show.

Damn that sucks, wish there was a convenient tool that would quickly report shaving instead of having to use time consuming methods. Makes me think CPA networks don't give a F about affiliates.

I hear you. There actually is no way to verifiably report shaving when you have no hosting control, other than to have a statistically significant number of "testers" actually go through the offer themselves(which could be considered fraud to the network or advertisers). Your best bet is probably to either satisfy the particular quality the advertiser is looking for, or to find different networks, offers, or advertisers to promote that works with your traffic. Worrying or concentrating on shaving, regardless of where it is in the chain, is generally a waste of time on the publisher end.
