You can only get in trouble if they find out about it brother. MOST LIKELY, they wont! There's billions of sites out there. What's the chance of them finding yours?? lol.

During this economical crisis 'MOST LIKELY' is really not enough bro'.

I have read that it will be 'fair use' if I put some comments with it.

I think you can as an image "citation". If it's not just decoration but you actually discuss something in the image it should be fine. Not a lawyer though.

There are tons of such images in the Internet, so who knows where you took them? I don't think that there is something illegal in this. Finally, you are not a paparazzi or stalker or smth like that!

Wrong! If someone steals an image and posts it on their site... and then you take it from the site of the person who stole it... you're still in trouble. You're using images that belong to other people. The fair use laws are very narrow. eg. Google gets away with using thumbnails to display image searches but they cannot use full size images.

If the big studios do really decide to pick on you for a few images, you'll most likely just get a cease and desist letter. You'd then remove the images, and life would go on.

I own a site on which I not only post images, but also video, from movies. Some of these haven't even come out yet. Is it a copyright issue? Sure. But honestly, in the year I've done this, including many times being the top result on Google when searching for the film, ahead of even the official sites, I still haven't been contacted about it.

In other words, don't sweat it.

I use VLC player to take screen shots from the videos and the result quality is best of all taken images. Go to breadcrumb of the VLC player and try once!

If it's used in an editorial way with citation, it will most likely pass as fair use.
