I am using AOC 18.5" LCD monitor since 2009. I hear that using these monitors for long years may issues to the eyes. I am mostly sitting 15 hrs a day to the front of LCD. My monitor was working fine but slightly i feel pain and sting, sometimes tears comes from both the eyes. So i need your advice, can i switch over to LED monitor with the same 19" or 20" under my budget.

You will see a difference if you switch but make sure that your environmental lighting is also LED rather than CFLs. Incandescents are also better than CFLs. Many people become sensitive to the flickering of fluorescent lighting and it's called photophobia and it can trigger migraines. I had a real problem over a year ago with this issue and spent the money to replace my monitors and floods.

Turn down brightness. This will make you head and eyes hurt. You should work set on around 60% - lots of people ignore that...

I second this. After I found out about f.lux I installed it on all the computers and laptops in my house, its great cause I can stay up later and still fall asleep when I want, as opposed to before when i would have trouble falling asleep because of the glare
