I just bought a new domain name and I need to know if it is possible to simply redirect my old site to the new domain name with the old site's content without hosting the new domain name.

    It's a WordPress website

    Home Page:
You can setup a 301 redirect but this will simpy just redirect them to your old URL.

OR a masked redirect which will show your domain all the time.

You can also try linking to wordpress servers directly.

There are multiple ways to approach it, but using your registrar's 301 domain forwarding feature would be the easiest. If you would like to preserve your old page structure, you may also use a 301 wildcard redirect.

You can add the new domain as add-on domain on the main domain account, and redirect the traffic from the old one to the new one. This way you will have the old code and the new domain name. But this way, new problems may arise since you use Wordpress, and it's not a custom website.
