I'm thinking about trying again to make videos for youtube in the horror niche
this time can i try to use facerig to emulate a face on the screen, or is only slideshow with narration enough to get views normally, geting monetisation and without shadowban restrictions?
my voice is not very good for narration, i always focus more on script creation, i can't pay someone to narrate at the moment, do you recommend some fake deep voice to help me with that?

it will work, use obs studio to record and if you dont want to show your face invest in a good microphone
drive social traffic from facebook niche related groups for initial boost

Probably. I mean you have Lazy Masquerade, Chills, Nuke's Top 5, and a bunch of others in the niche that don't show their face at all during videos.

In fact, it's a novelty when they do.

I think no problems I made a few songs without my face ever showing so far the songs popularity keeps going up so I don't see why in the horror niche your face showing or not showing make much difference but you can depending on Youtube rules maybe put on say a Slipknot or Scream mask which may boost your popularity if you want to just wear a mask when you make videos kind of like more interesting

Can they monetize the video normally? another point is chills, nuke, use third party videos to rank, this should also affect their monetization, interesting as it keeps getting a lot of views, maybe because of an appealing thumb

does not affect your monetization? I see that whenever those who make narrative videos show their face in the future, it seems that it has become the rule because of the attacks and threats of ISIS, showing a masked face would also be a problem in this case

It kind of depends purely on how you market yourself or Youtube ever weird rules but you could be right on the ISIS idea for why no masks in theory allowed or wanted but I know of guy who wears one but gets paid quite a lot of money a year can't remember his name except I know he's America and has a white mask.

I am not really doing much Adsense on the channel just selling songs at the moment.
