Hey, just a general question...can I let someone use my computer with IP address and all? I know there's programs like teamviewer or apps like google remote desktop, I just don't understand if the person logging into it gets the other user's ip address?
If i live in China and I want to register to website Y which doesn't let anyone from China to register/use it...but my brother lives in Turkey and doesnt mind to help, can I somehow get access to his computer and use it for website Y which now 'sees' I'm from Turkey not China? I know teamviewer let's one access another's computer but don't know how it affects the IP address.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I use TeamViewer to help some of my clients on occasion. This is what you would need to do:

    • Both of you would need to download TeamViewer
    • You would access with computer (you'll see his desktop in a small windows).
    • You can then register the domain from his computer.
It's remote access, meaning you can control his computer from your location. Because of this, it'll have been like he registered the domain name from his IP address.

if you want to view or use websites that don't allow your country you could try tunnelbear, it is a small piece of software that allows you to view websites from any country you choose. I live in the UK and use it daily for sites that only allow US ip's.
You just run it and clear your browser cache and refresh and you can view websites only for UK for example
